1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. We use them to make BFGFE work securely and to remember certain preferences.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
- Authentication cookies (Supabase): keep you signed in to your provider dashboard. Required for account features.
- bfgfe_age_confirmed: remembers that you confirmed you are 18+ on the age gate (up to 12 months). Required for adult content access.
- Session / security cookies: support CSRF protection, session refresh, and secure requests.
Functional (minimal)
- We may store lightweight client preferences needed for UI state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the core platform at launch.
3. Third-party cookies
When you complete Stripe checkout, Stripe may set cookies on its domain to process payment and prevent fraud. See Stripe's privacy policy for details. Embedded content from third parties (if added in future) may set their own cookies.
4. Analytics
Provider analytics (profile views, contact clicks) are primarily server-side events tied to hashed visitor identifiers, not third-party marketing trackers. We do not sell analytics data to advertisers.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and may re-show the age gate each visit. Clearing cookies may sign you out of your account.

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology changes. Check the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
